TW U18 entered the weekend with an UMEL record of 7-9-2 and
after a 1-1 tie with Shattuck on Sat the TW U18 squad had some
bonding time when MN SW decided to enhance the physical play.
While a few had to exit the game early, you could see the teamwork
build and an eventual 5-2 win over the always gritty SW team.
In the late game on Sunday, the only thing between MN NW being
crowned the UMEL league champions, was a tenacious TW U18 team that
found a way to out last the very talented NW team with a 5-4
win. That win propelled SSM into the leagues #1 spot and
allowed TW U18 to finish the season in 4th with a 9-9-3
